About Us

OUR MISSION

HEALING HEARTS FRESH STARTS

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit all volunteer rescue organization focused on physically rescuing and reuniting lost/found animals within our community.  We provide medical assistance and care to the injured, abused, neglected, abandoned and underaged animals.  We also rescue at-risk animals from local shelters. For the animals that come into our rescue, they are placed in safe, nurturing foster homes to prepare them for adoption.  We are dedicated to match each and every animal with the very best forever home.

TNR

Trap/Neuter/Release

The population of community and feral cats has multiplied over the years. “Kitten season” begins when the warm weather rolls around in March and lasts until the cold weather starts around October. During this time, thousands of kittens are born outside. Without any protection these young kittens are prey to wildlife, killed by cars and die from other avoidable situations. With our shelters around the country adult and senior cats are killed to make space for the kittens that come in the thousands. Our County Shelter has programs to provide affordable spay and neuter cats (as well as dogs!) to our local jurisdiction; including FREE spay/neuter to unowned free-roaming cats. Click here for more information on TNR and click here for information on TNR services and spay/neuter services for our South County area. If you would like some assistance or need any questions answered about TNR please email us at tnr@aarflove.org.

Adoptions

We are proud to be a 501(c)3 non-profit that is able to pull from our surrounding shelters, rehabilitate pets and find them the very best homes! The best way to help the epidemic of overflowing shelters and rescues is to ADOPT! When you adopt a rescue pet you save their life and allow for another pet to be brought into the rescue for a chance at a perfect furever home! Foster, Volunteer, Donate & Share

For those who are not able to adopt a pet, we understand! There are MANY other ways you can help support rescues! We are a fully FOSTER based non-profit which means if we don’t have a foster available, we are NOT able to intake a pet. Fostering is an amazing experience for the whole family and saves lives of so many pets! If you would like to learn more about our foster program click here.

For those who are not able to foster but still want to be involved you can chose to VOLUNTEER your time or special skill! Are you great at photography? Web Design? Love admin work? Want to transport? Love writing content? We would love the help! Click here to fill out our volunteer form.

For those who don’t have any spare time to give you can DONATE! As a non-profit all your donations are tax-deductible AND go directly to the animals. Our adoption fees do not cover the cost of each pet so without your donations we would NOT be able to do what we do! Click here to see all the ways you can donate

Finally, for those who are unable to do any of the above you can SHARE! Sharing education, social media posts and word of mouth is how we are able to help save so many lives! Click here to see all our social media accounts and feel free to like, follow, comment and share!
